Aerosol
People love aerosol ant killers because of their convenience. In addition to the ingredient that actually kills ants, there is another ingredient that immobilizes them immediately, so there’s no running around to make sure an insect was actually contacted.
Bait station
All bait stations work on the same principle. They contain a sugary substance that appeals to ants, along with slow-killing borax that eliminates the entire colony.
Concentrate
Both of these products are concentrates, and must have water added before applying. As well, they were both specifically designed to work outside the home.
Dust
Dust can be used indoors and outdoors, and is especially useful in crevices and cracks and other hard-to-reach locations.
Spray
Sprays are a very popular solution for people having ant control problems. They generally kill ants within a matter of minutes. One format also comes with a battery-powered wand that propels the liquid into hard-to-reach places.
Trap
These traps have ingredients that attract ants to them, as well as glue in them that ants can’t free themselves from, so you can see the actual number of pests that you’ve gotten rid of.
